Shalema Rodriguez

Shalema Rodriguez, a Hispanic Black, widowed woman, was born in Manhattan, NY, and raised in Queens. She faced struggles as a strong black woman in Bedford-Stuyvesant, NY, where she met her late husband. Shalema is the mother of four children: three daughters and one son, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.

Currently residing in Atlanta, GA, she is a telecommunications corporate professional, holding a BA in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Public Administration. She’s a Certified EFT Tapping Coach, Certified Digital Citizen Officer, self-publisher, and author who owns and operates a publishing company called Mind Benderz Publishing LLC.

She’s also an authority on helping people achieve their full potential in life by sharing her knowledge and belief that people will do better if they know better. She has been studying and applying self-love with emotional intelligence for over twenty years, which has transformed her life and environment. Through her experience, she has helped herself and others achieve inner peace and strength, overcome adversity, and create the life they desire. This is important to her because the techniques in her book have helped her build better relationships with people, lose 20 pounds, buy homes, advance in her career, open new businesses, and love herself holistically.

Shalema is the ideal person to write this book because she has been through the common struggles that strong black women face, from poverty, bad relationships, and the death of her husband to building a successful business while working and raising her children. She believes that all black people who choose to practice self-love with emotional intelligence can accomplish their desires and much more. She is passionate about sharing her experiences and knowledge because she knows it can help others if properly applied, and her life is proof that it works.
